The 20b (I think that's the code for it) that was in the Cosmo is an amazing engine. Only 3 rotor engine ever put into a road car, and it's twin sequential turbo! When the Eunos Cosmo turns 25 I am going to look for one to buy, I adore them, especially the ones with the Navigation(!!!) in the early 90s!

I work at the shop that built that car, JPR imports. the kid who owned it had it for yeeeaaarrrsss... ran a 9.64 in it, took it to a race one day and blew the stock trans up and sold it (it was the only race he ever lost). Now he focuses on his supra (yes he owned a RX7 and a supra) which is quite nasty, another mid 9 second car, but still... it lacks the character.. I miss that FD

edit: i like the "we" he uses talking about building it. he did nothing lol.. (pointlessly bitter lol)

Wicked cool. The car in the video made me go on an hourlong binge of rotary videos. I'm not normally one for Japanese cars, but the FD cars are so pretty.

oh yea, they are incredible, i find them to be one of the most beautiful cars in the world, and that motor sounds so perfect with that body, i cant believe people put V8s in them, the sounds dont match

awe lol, that picture does the car no justice, the first gen is a good looking car too in my opinion the cars got better by each body style. but i know a guy who just loves first gens and really only first gens, and hes not alone, so to each their own
